Some textiles, such as wool, cotton and silk are made from natural fibres.
Wool comes from sheep and similar woolen animals like llamas and alpacas.
Silk comes from the cocoons of silkworms. Workers unravel long silk threads from the cocoons and twist them together.
Cotton comes from the see-hair of the cotton plant. The seed pods are called bolls, and each has thousands of hairs.
